TIM PPLH IPB MELAKUKAN VERIFIKASI HASIL PENANAMAN MANGROVE DI RAMSAR SITE PULAU RAMBUT
Tim PPLH IPB bersama PT Pertamina Hulu Energi Offshore North West Java (PHE ONWJ) dan Balai Konservasi Sumber Daya Alam (BKSDA) pada tanggal 9 Juni 2022, melakukan kunjungan ke Pulau Rambut untuk melaksanakan kegiatan verifikasi hasil penanaman mangrove di Suaka Margasatwa Pulau Rambut. Kegiatan ini dilakukan sebagai lanjutan dari kegiatan penanaman bibit mangrove di Pulau Lancang sebagai salah satu Coperate responsibility atas insiden tumpahan minyak pada tahun 2019 lalu. Mangrove yang sudah ditanam dengan metode tanam bedeng berpagar dilengkapi paranet sebagai pengamanan bibit dilakukan pengecekan jumlah dan kondisi kesehatan bibit.
Ada tiga lokasi yang menjadi tempat penanaman bibit mangrove. Lokasi pertama dan kedua terletak di bagian barat Pulau Rambut. Sedangkan lokasi ketiga terletak di bagian utara Pulau Rambut. Bibit mangrove yang ditanam di masing-masing lokasi berkisar antara 8.000 sampai 8.800.
Kegiatan ini diwakilkan oleh tim PPLH IPB (Luluk D.W. Handayani, S.P., M.Si., Marfian D. Putra, S.Pi., Prita Ayu Permatasari, S.P., Luisa Febrina A., S.Si., dan Citra Martia S., S.Hum.,), PHE ONWJ (Rizal Razak & Ary), BKSDA (Dede Dicky Permadi).
