PPLH IPB Mendapat Kunjungan Silaturahmi dari Tim Universitas Borneo Tarakan (UBT)
Pada Selasa 17 Mei 2022, PPLH IPB mendapat kunjungan silaturahmi dari Tim dari Universitas Borneo Tarakan (UBT), Kalimantan Utara untuk diskusi isu-isu lingkungan hidup dan potensi kerjasama.
Kunjungan Tim Universitas Borneo Tarakan tersebut diwakili oleh Wakil Rektor I (Dr. Adi Sutrisno), Kepala LPPM (Dr. Etty Wahyuni, S.Hut), dan Kepala Pusat Keanekaragaman Hayati daerah Perbatasan dan Laut Tropis (Dr. Ratno Achyani, S.Pi., M.Si.). Kunjungan diterima langsung oleh Kepala PPLH IPB (Dr. Yudi Setiawan, S.P., M.Sc.) sembari didampingi Sekretaris Eksekutif (Dr. Liyantono, S.T.P., M.Agr.), Kepala Bidang Kajian Kebijakan dan Kelembagaan Lingkungan (Dr. Tjahjo Tri Hartono), dan salah satu peneliti muda PPLH IPB (Fikri Sakti F, S.Hut).
Kunjungan ini bertujuan untuk mendiskusikan isu-isu lingkungan hidup pada tingkat provinsi khususnya di Kalimantan Utara, nasional, maupun global. Adapun yang menjadi isu diskusi adalah ekonomi hijau, pengelolaan lanskap berkelanjutan, dan kelayakan proyek pembangunan. Di akhir kunjungan, PPLH IPB dan Tim Universitas Borneo Tarakan bersepakat untuk memperkuat hubungan kerjasama melalui berbagai kegiatan penelitian bersama dan peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia di bidang lingkungan hidup.
Melalui kerjasama ini, harapannya kedua lembaga dapat memperkuat perannya dalam pengembangan IPTEKS di bidang pengelolaan lingkungan hidup. Adapun dalam upaya pengembangannya nanti kolaborasi dengan stakeholders terkait diperlukan agar hasilnya tepat guna dan para stakeholders dapat merasakan manfaatnya kembali.
